DRAFT — pending legal review. This page summarizes the Mag ’N Bag program terms for partner review. Final and binding terms are confirmed in your signed Distribution Agreement and should be reviewed with qualified counsel.
Give Back Mom — Mag ’N Bag: bag the local savings magazine with your orders. Local businesses advertise in it and support the community — at no monthly cost to you.
1. The Program
Mag ’N Bag places the Give Back Mom community savings magazine with the Partner’s takeout and delivery orders. Local businesses advertise in the magazine; a portion of ad sales funds Give-Back Gift Cards that are given away to support the community. There is no monthly cost to the Partner for participating.
2. Give-Back Mechanics
- 25% of advertising sales are allocated to purchasing Give-Back Gift Cards for the advertisers.
- Those gift cards are given away on the Mag ’N Bag Restaurant Partner’s social accounts.
- Delivery of the give-aways runs through the Social Link program — Social Link membership is required for the give-aways to function.
3. Partner Requirements
- Distribution agreement. A Mag ’N Bag Distributor distribution agreement applies and must be in place. The Partner agrees to bag/distribute the magazine with qualifying orders during the term.
- Social Link membership. Active Social Link membership is required so the advertiser give-aways can be delivered on the Partner’s social channels.
- The Partner will follow reasonable placement and handling guidance for the magazine and will not alter or withhold distribution without cause.
4. Costs
There is no monthly fee to the Partner for the Mag ’N Bag program itself. Costs associated with the required Social Link membership are governed by the Social Link Partner Agreement. Any figures shown in program materials are illustrative and confirmed in your agreement.
5. Content & Brand Standards
Advertising and give-away content is subject to Community Marketplace review and approval and must be lawful, accurate, and consistent with CMP brand standards. The Partner may decline specific content inappropriate for its audience by notifying CMP.
6. Term, Termination & General
The Distribution Agreement sets the term and renewal. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within a reasonable notice period. The Parties are independent contractors. This program is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
